COVID-19 Space Coast Association 4/8/20 Update – NOT Business as Usual
As a Realtor who continues to work and provide housing to the community, I MUST adhere to CDC guidelines in practicing safe distances 6ft or more, no congregating in groups of 10 or more, wear gloves and masks (this includes any customers I am working with). I must wash my hands often, and increase my disinfectant and sanitizing process.
Imagine I am working with a potential buyer showing property and then a few days later I get a call from that potential buyer that they have tested positive for COVID-19. I have now been exposed and so have all of the properties that have been shown. All parties will need to be notified and take safety precautions to this potentially life or death situation. This is just one scenario in which as a REALTOR I am faced with on a daily basis. I will do my best to conduct business, as usual, with digital methods to promote real estate. Thank goodness I have been a long time digital diva!!
I am following the advice of our real estate association and offering virtual showings, open houses and tours to reduce the spread and exposure of COVID-19.
Real Estate may have been deemed an essential business, but I want to take every precautionary measure to avoid exposure COVID-19. I have the responsibility to protect myself, buyers, sellers, and their properties. If you have questions and concerns about the real estate market on the Space Coast, please call, text, or email me using my digital business card at ContactAgiNow.com
